Sphynx

A sphynx design I created for a short animation I'm planning, called Desert's Gambit. The mythical creature can be found in myths all over the ancient world, so I wanted to base her facial structure, wig and features on women around Northern Africa and Egypt. Her jewelry is based on Greek antique jewelry, and her clothes are inspired by a breakdown of Mesopotamian women's fashions I found by concept artist Benedikt Renz (https://benjore.artstation.com/projects/28ZPoK).
